Dr. Goodgame is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology. He is the clinical and educational leader for Oncology and Hematology for Dell Medical School at UT Austin and Ascension Texas and in charge of training future hematologists and oncologists. He leads clinical trials and conducts research on health outcomes, patient communication, AI and health technology.
He has a passion for education and increasing the understanding of cancer and its treatment, both for physicians and the people and families affected by cancer every day.
He founded HematologyNow because he thought patients with blood problems and their primary care doctors deserved a dedicated service that wasn’t tied to a cancer doctor’s office.
When he’s not taking care of medical problems, he can be found with his wife and kids, with his dog, or in the chicken coop.
